Bright Blue are currently looking for new forum coordinators. Our forums are informal spaces in which to discuss policy and politics. Currently Bright Blue runs two forums – the Education Forum and the Energy and Climate Change Forum. Both forums take place in a pub on a weekday evening and attract likeminded individuals.

The role of the forum coordinator is to organise the event and chair the discussion on the night. Bright Blue provides assistance in both of these regards.

There are several benefits to becoming a forum coordinator. First, you get to meet interesting people. For instance, our next Energy and Climate Change Forum will be attended by Rebecca Harris MP and our Associate Fellow, Ben Caldecott. Second, you have an opportunity to feed into Bright Blue’s research, be this through arguments you advance on the night or blog posts you write in your capacity as a forum coordinator.

We are particularly interested in new coordinators for forums in the following areas:

– Politics: everything Westminster and beyond
– International affairs
– Welfare and poverty

We are also open to forums in other areas. If you are interested in becoming a forum coordinator, please do email James Dobson to get further information.
