Bright Blue, the independent think tank for liberal conservatism, responds to the Government’s announcement of a new migration partnership between the UK and India.
Responding, Joseph Silke, Communications Officer at Bright Blue, said:
“The expansion of opportunities for citizens of the UK and India to live and work in one another’s countries is a welcome step toward a truly ‘Global Britain’ immigration policy.
“This two-way migration strengthens the UK’s post-Brexit economic prosperity and cultural influence.
“Bright Blue has called for an expansion of the number of countries that the UK has reciprocal visa relationships with, particularly to Commonwealth countries like India.”
