Dr David Starkey CBE is a British historian, author, and broadcaster. He has written more than a dozen books, including Monarchy: From the Middle Ages to Modernity and Magna Carta: The True Story Behind the Charter, and presented countless documentaries on Tudor history. Today, he presents David Starkey Talks… and is a frequent commentator on British politics.
