John is the Chairman of the Conservative Councillors’ Association and the leader of the opposition on Elmbridge Council that covers his constituency. He is also a co-founder of the Education Policy Institute and used to be a political adviser to several cabinet ministers and FTSE CEOs. John is currently a Senior Counsel at PLMR and a Member of the LGA Children & Young People Board.
