Join our first event of our new series entitled Looking ahead to the 2021 COPs.
This new panel event series from Bright Blue is an opportunity to discuss and debate new ideas and policies to tackle the interrelated crises of climate change and biodiversity decline ahead of the two COPs in 2021: the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change COP26 in Glasgow and the UN Biodiversity Conference COP15 in China.
The key questions we would like to address in this event are:
What role can afforestation and other rewilding efforts play in reaching net zero?
What are the potential challenges to scaling nature-based approaches globally?
How can we ensure that the environmental restoration associated with nature-based solutions has a positive effect on biodiversity?
How can private sector funding be levered to support the rollout of nature-based solutions?
