Lukas Wick

Associate Fellow

Lukas Wick is a co-Founder of Bright Blue Europe and the Founder of the European Foresight Group. Before founding the European Foresight Group, Lukas was a Project Manager and Research Associate at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in London (UK & Ireland office), specializing in German–British and German–Irish relations with a focus on foreign policy, security and the coordination of high-profile international conferences. His work involved diplomatic engagement with stakeholders across the UK, Germany, and Europe, alongside the publication of reports and essays on German–British/Irish relations.

Previously, Lukas worked at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Brussels, advising on EU and NATO security and defence policy and supporting senior-level political engagement and events. Before that, he served as Head of Unit at the Representation of the State of Hesse to the EU, leading policy monitoring and speechwriting for the Hessian Minister for European Affairs, with a focus on Brexit, foreign policy and transatlantic relations. He holds a Master’s in International Security from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI).
