Associate Fellow

Ben Gadsby is an Associate Fellow at Bright Blue, and Head of Policy and Research at Impetus, a charity that works to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed in school, in work, and in life. His most recent work includes a series of nine research papers using the Longitudinal Educational Outcomes dataset to provide a more detailed understanding of the link between disadvantage, education and employment. During the pandemic, Ben has been involved in the design and development of the government’s National Tutoring Programme. He has previously worked for Teach First, the Policy Research Unit, and in local government.
