This report examines the impact of and recent changes to planning policy for solar, onshore wind and offshore wind, concluding that recent approaches have been inconsistent. The findings provide a strong case to – and policy advice for – this Conservative Government for reform planning to facilitate an increase in the generation capacity of renewable energy technologies in England
