We are delighted to announce that we are introducing a new lecture series where we will hear from prominent thinkers and decision makers on the biggest issues of our time.
This January we will host HE Mr João Vale de Almeida, the EU Ambassador to the UK to speak about ‘The future relationship between the UK and the EU’.
Ambassador Vale de Almeida will deliver an opening statement, followed by an interview with our chair Sarah Sands, and finally address questions from the virtual audience.
The event is a timely opportunity to discuss the implications of Brexit and explore the ways in which the EU and UK will continue to work closely and share common interests and values.
HE João Vale de Almeida is currently the Ambassador of the European Union to the United Kingdom. He also served as Ambassador of the European Union to the United Nations from 2015 to 2019 and Ambassador of the European Union to the United States from 2010 to 2014.
